Sustainability of Semi-Subsistence Farming Systems in New Member States and Acceding Countries
To analyse the impact of 2005 EC rural development measures and of other relevant policy options on socio-economic sustainability of Semi-Subsistence Farm Households (SFH).
The study includes (i) the review of literature and quantitative sources on SFH in selected New Member States (Bulgaria, Romania and Poland), (ii) the analysis of current/prospective SFH socio-economic sustainability using survey data, and (iii) the evaluation of possible adjustment strategies improving SFH sustainability.
